NEW in V 2.9: Notarized installer for macOS Catalina. NEW in V 2.9: All 500+ factory presets have been refurbished and improved with X/Y assignments. A favourite amongst soundtrack composers, producers and sound designers, Zebra2 provides all the tools you need-the rest is up to you. The powerful, high quality (but still CPU friendly) sound engine and the numerous sound sculpting tools make Zebra2 capable of a near-limitless range of new sounds and textures. It would help to know if there is a folder for 3rd party AUs so I could at least find out if the installer did in fact install any at all! But if anyone else has installed Zebra 2 or any other AU plug ins and knows something I don't, let me know what you think!ĭon't know weather this could be a 9.1.U-he Zebra 2 is a sound-design playground. I thought about contacting u he but the level of information and support on the website was poor, so I was hoping if anyone here could shed light on the issue for me? This would be all good but Logic wants to use the AU (Audio Units) version, where are they? I've tried scanning in the Logic Audio Units manager, nothing!
Wrong!Īfter installing the demo I open Logic and find nothing has changed! I do a bit of research and despite spotlight showing no results for a Zebra2 plug-in (why when there are files with zebra2 in the name?) I find the zebra VSTs in a folder under macintoshHD>library>audio>plug ins>vst. I know Logic uses AU so that should be fine. Finally I have a new system I'm eager to try it out! I go on to the u he website and see that there is a Mac Demo version that is AU,RTAS,VST compatible. So for years I've heard great things about the Zebra 2 synth.
